Don’t Drink And Cook

I never drink and cook.

I never use any mind altering anything while cooking. I did it once and quickly lost all interest. Finishing up was a chore and bummer to boot.

  • Though no one noticed, it ruined the entire evening for me.

People should have all their faculties in good working order when cooking anything for anybody for any and every reason or season.

For me it’s like taking a walk and smoking a cigarette at the same time – I was not a stand up smoker either.

I don’t know how and why so many food service workers drink and drug while they work. Where do they find the energy to keep working after the smoke break?

When you have strong confidence scores, which means you need the alcohol and or drug to act normal. Then that’s a disease and shouldn’t be compared with recreational drinking – until it ruins your life and there are no do-overs.

I think alcohol is so predictably woven into the fabric of life, that one can take issue with banning it, especially since it doesn’t involve the raise-to-slaughter industries.

Or does it?It’s often said of alcohol addiction, ‘if the don’t stop drinking, you’ll’ll die’. That sounds like slaughter to me. Slaughtered by a plant. Alcohol isn’t made of animal.

It comes from plant and process.

It dulls some senses and heightens others. It drops inhibitions then causes memory loss and poor judgement.

Why want that? While cooking or not.

When I’m cooking I’m working. I don’t drink while I work.
