There are no terms. Vegans don’t eat at restaurants serving animals – or so the Facebook Street claims.
The Animal-Free Chef sees value in animal-free dishes within an animal-serving establishment.
Some vegans think it’s a sellout. It does appear that way. One dish on a menu the size of Denny’s? No dressing except oil and vinegar. I can get oil and vinegar at home. I want special animal-free. If you can’t at least put a Beyond, Impossible, Gardein, MorningStar that isn’t cumin-laden black bean on the menu, then don’t expect much more from me in the way of patronage.
If I go to a bar it will be to drink, not eat.
Still, when out with friends after hours, hungry from a night of fun, I WANT a burger and a bun and a cheese and a creamy salad dressing that are all animal-free. Keep the patty frozen till ready.
CAN YOU HANDLE THAT?
